The Coolpix L10 offers a 2.0-inch display with 153,000 pixel resolution, but like many other small cameras these days, includes no optical viewfinder. ...

... At this modest price level, you can't expect high-end performance but you do get good performance along with a suite of in-camera image enhancement tools that really matter. And you get Nikon's excellent Macro performance, too, although it's less remarkable at wide-angle on the L10 than on the more versatile L12."

Review (Summary): I've been quite impressed with many of the previous CoolPix L-series (L for life, if you were wondering) cameras. They've managed to bring some genuine Nikon quality to the budget end of the market, and the L10 is no exception. It costs only around £75, ($99-$119 U.S.)making it the lowest-priced digital camera I’ve ever reviewed.

For a budget camera the L10 has much to recommend it, with superb build quality, sensible and attractive design, good performance and excellent battery life. It even has some features that you'd not expect to find this far down the price scale. It's only weaknesses are poor low-light focusing and less-than-sparkling picture quality, but if you're on a very tight budget you have to make certain sacrifices."<,/P>
