Image quality was outstanding. Quite apart from the P30 back, the rendering one gets from medium format lenses is quite different from 35mm lenses. As just one example, I got a quite nice depth of field dropoff on headshots even shooting at f8 and f11. I found the P30 files, in purely subjective terms, to be "richer" and somehow "rounder" than my 5D shots, in addition to being more detailed.
