| Snapshooters who want good image quality and ease of operation and won't miss manual controls will love the Kodak EasyShare LS743, a slim and totable 4-megapixel model. While its zoom range is limited to 2.8X, close focusing, a good burst mode, and extralong battery life make this a versatile camera, especially for photographers whose enthusiasm for picture-taking exceeds their technical skills. |

| The Kodak EasyShare LS743 is a nice choice for those looking for a compact, high resolution point-and-shoot camera. Enthusiasts will be turned off by its lack of manual controls and limited image quality choices, but the average shooter probably won't miss either. The LS743 has a compact body made mostly of metal, and it's very slick. |

| The Kodak EasyShare LS743 digital camera is one of the latest in a long line of easy to use digital cameras from the photo giant. The Kodak LS743 and its twin the Kodak LS753 are near-identical four- and five-megapixel models that allow a little more user control than lower-end models in the EasyShare line, while still retaining the ease of use that's the hallmark of the EasyShare line as a whole. |
