"Microtek delivers another engineering marvel with a transparency adaper whose lamp travels with the sensor and film holders that keep larger formats flat - all for under $400.

The i800 has the resolution, bit-depth and Dmax to handle 35mm negatives and slides, prints and a variety of other scanning jobs without breaking a sweat. We applaud the inclusion of both High-Speed USB and FireWire ports. And we're happy to see a variety of EZ-Lock film holders, too.."
