The Canon Pixma iP4200 Photo Printer ($129.99 direct) represents an evolutionary step forward from the iP4000 and iP3000 that it replaces in Canon's line. Compared with the iP4000, the iP4200 is less expensive, faster for business applications, and offers more longevity for photos. Alas, photos earn a quality rating a touch lower and take a little longer to print than they did with the iP4000, but the overall balance of features makes for an impressive package.
