October 7, 2006 -- Ricoh today released new firmware for their Caplio R5 Digital Camera. By downloading and installing this new firmware release to your Caplio R5 you'll automatically be enhancing the camera with new features and enhancements.

Feature Enhancements
This new firmware update improves the color balance of the LCD screen, fixes the display failure when viewing Histograms, improves the accuracy of the AF algorithm in macro mode, and improves the quality of the image in the LCD that is displayed immediately after your taking a picture.
