M-Rock Expands Popular Line of Top Load DSLR Holster Bags with New Appalachian and Wasatch Models

Water-Resistant, Cell Foam Plastic Support and Adjustable Capacity Using Unique Modular System Make Bags Exceptionally Rugged and Functional

New York, NY – October 22, 2009 – M-ROCK, a leading manufacturer of high quality camera bags, backpacks and travel cases for professional photographers and enthusiasts, is expanding its popular line of top load dSLR holster bags with the introduction of the Appalachian 650 and Wasatch 654 v-shaped top load models. M-ROCK's top load bags are ideal for photographers who want to carry a single camera body with lens and accessories such as memory cards and batteries. Photographers who need additional space for extra lenses and accessories can expand the holster bag with M-ROCK's unique modular bag attachment matrix.

M-ROCK's new Appalachian 650 model offers the minimal possible size and a snug fit for all compact dSLR camera bodies in the Nikon D60 or Canon Rebel size range with up to a 5-inch lens attached. There is addition storage space for accessory items such as memory cards, cables, and extra batteries. The Appalachian 650 is the perfect choice for entry-level dSLR camera owners.

After numerous requests for a taller pro sized top load holster bag M-ROCK is happy to announce the launch of The new Wasatch 654 holster bag. The Wasatch is 12 inches tall and can hold a professional sized dSLR body or a standard dSLR body with a battery grip and up to an 8.5 inch lens attached. The base of the bag is wide enough to accommodate lenses with a diameter of up to 3.5 inches. Chunky bridge style dividers can support the weight of the camera body. A lower divider is included to separate an attached lens of six inches or less from the space below.

"M-ROCK's line of top load dSLR holster bags are designed to provide easy access to the camera while offering a safe and convenient way to keep equipment light and compact," says Michael Rockwell, President and founder of M-ROCK. "Using M-ROCK's modular bag system, photographers can expand -- or reduce -- the capacity for a more customized solution for every project. In fact, the customized modular system is available with our entire line of bags, backpacks and roller bags," Rockwell added.

M-ROCK now offers five distinct models in its line of top load v-shaped dSLR holster bags. In addition to the new Appalachian 650 and Wasatch 654 models, the line includes the Yellowstone 654, Sierras 652, and Grand Teton 653. While each bag differs in size to accommodate a variety of dSLR cameras, lenses and accessories, they all include a large list of features, functions and solid construction that make M-ROCK camera bags a great value. Features found in every M-ROCK top load holster bag include:

  • Adjustable capacity to accommodate immediate needs by attaching or removing any one of
