pure inspiration with its 28mm wide angle lens.
Uhingen, 22. September, 2008. New product release on 23rd September: The new
AgfaPhoto DC-8428s with the 28mm wide angle lens will be presented to visitors
at the Cologne photokina trade fair. You can try it out at the show until 28th
of September in Hall 05.2 booth C031.
28mm wide angle lens and
4x optical zoom
The 28mm wide angle lens and the 4x optical zoom increases the photographic
field of the camera. You can also capture large groups, rambling buildings and
landscapes on one photo. The picture quality of the digital camera is as
convincing as the fine design of the compact metal casing.
Face tracking
A further highlight of the camera is "Face tracking" function. The AgfaPhoto
DC-8428s recognizes up to five faces per shot, meaning people are automatically
perfectly photographed. The stabilizer also helps the picture to be sharp when
the digital camera is not absolutely still at the moment of shutter release.
Quite new possibilities arise when the Coupling function is enabled: two photos
can be merged whilst still in the camera.
Panorama function
Further than the eye can see, pictures taken with the Panorama function can be
later merged together. The software is easy to use and a 360º shot can be
quickly created. Then simply sit back, view it and enjoy as you can now see the
subject in a totally new dimension.

state-of-the-art technology
The AgfaPhoto DC-8428s has a 2.7" TFT display (230,000 pixel), a 4x optical
and 5x digital zoom, 8-megapixel resolution and 19 scene modes. Another handy
feature is the "Display Brightness Mode" with which the display
optimally adjusts to the lighting conditions thus ensuring you always get the
best view of the display. The AgfaPhoto DC-8428s is equipped with a
rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. Additionally the package contents also
include a comprehensive software bundle with Zoner PanoramaMaker and Zoner
PhotoStudio 9 Express.
The AgfaPhoto DC-8428s is available starting end of October for 169 Euros (RRP
