San Francisco, CA  --(PR.com)-- Well-known podcasters Alex Lindsay and Scott Bourne have launched This Week in Photography (TWIP).

"Photography is one of the largest hobbies in the world. And photographers are hungry for as much information as they can get," says Scott Bourne, co-host.

Along with new media veterans Scott Bourne and Alex Lindsay from Pixelcorps, experts from the professional photo community will contribute to the show. Other contributors to the show include Joe Lindsay, Steve Simon, Ron Brinkmann and Fred Johnson. The TWIP cast will report on the latest consumer and professional cameras, photo software, tips and tricks and the people and companies behind them.

TWIP, an online media show will include several delivery methods: weekly audio podcasts, online video and screencasts. The show also features a blog (http://www.twipphoto.com ).

"We're going to try to help anyone interested in photography," said co-host Alex Lindsay. "But we're not going to dumb things down too much. We think there is a market for a show that gives people credit for being smart enough to follow along, even if the topics might appear to start a little over their heads."

The podcast is available at Apple's iTunes store free of charge and can be downloaded by anyone with a computer, iPod, iPhone, Apple TV or other media player.

The show debuted at number one in iTunes Technology category and quickly rose to the top 100 list, where it has remained since the show launched four weeks ago.

Co-Host Bios

Alex Lindsay

Alex Lindsay has 20 years of experience in computer graphics. He has extensive experience in digital production including print, real-time graphics, multimedia titles, forensic animation, television, photography and film. He spent several years on the production of Star Wars: Episode 1 (at JAK Films and then at Industrial Light and Magic). Lindsay has taught at the Academy of Art and at the San Francisco State Multimedia Studies Programs. He writes for 3D Magazine, 3D World, and Post and was a regular guest on TechTV, often demonstrating how to get the most out of Photoshop.

Scott Bourne

Scott Bourne is a digital media pioneer and has been involved in photography for more than three decades, leading photography workshops and seminars. He is the author of four photo books and has created three photography-related titles for lynda.com.

Bourne also holds the designation Apple Certified Professional Trainer (T3) for Apple's Aperture. He's also previously held the designation Certified Adobe Photoshop Instructor.
