New ThetaWeb, Auto Photo Album System, Jota System Featured in Durst Booth 1001

LAS VEGAS, March 26, 2007 – Durst Image Technology U.S., llc today said its latest photo products and solutions – the new ThetaWeb fully automatic online system, Auto Photo Book System and Jota Album Printer – address the needs of photography studios for simpler, more value-adding workflow that delivers the innovative photo products that consumers want.

In WPPI Booth 1001, Durst is highlighting a total imaging solution built around the popular Theta 76 photo printers, featuring the new ThetaWeb – a comprehensive, fully automatic online ordering system. Attendees also can see the Auto Photo Book System – a modular, RA-4 process photo book production system that is configurable to meet studios' specific needs and designed for medium- to high-volume capacities. In addition, a completely redesigned Jota Album Printer, debuts in the U.S. this month.

"Photo labs and studios want complete, versatile, easy-to-operate digital photo output solutions that will help them gain entry into the high-potential consumer photo keepsakes business, and that can be upgraded as their operations expand," said A. Ron Waters, President and CEO of Durst U.S. "All of our photo solutions are developed and regularly improved to emphasize these capabilities. The result is a Durst product portfolio that photo studios can easily and confidently adopt, operate, maintain and profit from as they transition to providers of creative, high-margin digital photo products."

Theta 76
One of the most versatile, affordable digital photo printers ever built is available in four configurations – emphasizing color output; speed and productivity; "true" black-and-white output; and economical printing. The Durst Theta 76 30-Inch Multi-Format Lab Systems, featuring an in-line processor and Durst's proprietary fiber optic LED technology, produce high-quality prints from 3.5x5 inches all the way up to 30 inches by 13 feet long – ideal for image consistency across an entire photo package. It satisfies a wide range of imaging demands at previously unattainable productivity levels, all with laser-like image sharpness, Durst said.

Auto Photo Book System
Durst's new modular, highly automated photo book production system is designed for studios and labs with medium- to high-volume production needs. This new system, which will be commercially available in the second quarter of the year, features a three-station modular design to accommodate specific capacity demands, and an automated workflow for one-person operation. The system – comprised of creasing/folding, mounting/gluing and feeder units – produces as many as 18 40-page books or 36 20-page books per hour, Durst said.

Jota Album Printer
A completely new Jota Album Printer features simple operation, high efficiency and a small footprint. The new Jota is an automated inkjet printing system that makes "photo quality" picture books and other
attractive, stylish image-based products, Durst said. The Jota is sold in the U.S. exclusively through distributors, the company said – including PTS Consulting & Service Group.

Pricing and other product information is available at Durst's WPPI Booth (1001), by phone at Durst at 1-888-480-3588, by e-mail at Durst at info@durstus.com, or online at http://www.durstus.com/.
