Stamps.com's PhotoStamps Now Available as Part of Adobe Photoshop Services

LOS ANGELES, May 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stamps.com (NASDAQ:STMP) , a leading provider of Internet-based postage services, today announced the availability of PhotoStamps(R) from within Adobe(R) Photoshop(R) CS2, Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Album Starter Edition software. The launch of PhotoStamps for Business, also announced today, will now allow users of the Photoshop family of products to easily design and use PhotoStamps to create awareness for their products or services, to build their brand, or for other commercial uses.

"We are thrilled to be able to offer Adobe Photoshop CS2, Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Album Starter Edition software users a convenient way to edit and create PhotoStamps," said Stamps.com President and CEO Ken McBride. "With the introduction today of PhotoStamps for Business, companies large and small will now be able to create great new applications such as building awareness of their products and services, or building their brand -- right from the familiar Photoshop interface. We are excited to be able to work with such a world class organization as Adobe."

"Our customers like to be creative with their photographs," said Deborah Whitman, vice president of product management for Digital Imaging at Adobe. "Both professional photographers and amateur photo enthusiasts like the ability to explore fun and innovative ways to share and showcase their photos. Working with Stamps.com adds another dimension to digital image expression right within our Adobe Photoshop Services line-up."

Through this integration users will be able to edit their digital images and then seamlessly transform them into PhotoStamps. The Adobe applications are also Web-enabled so that users can see the PhotoStamps Web pages from within the program. PhotoStamps is now available for professional and advanced amateur users within Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Windows(R) and Macintosh, as well as for photo enthusiasts and consumers in Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 for Windows, Photoshop Elements 4.0 for Windows, Photoshop Elements 4.0 for Macintosh and the free product Photoshop Album Starter Edition for Windows.

Since the beginning of the second market test in May 2005, more than 14.5 million individual PhotoStamps have been shipped to customers. To order, customers simply select a digital photograph or image file from within Adobe Photoshop CS2, Photoshop Elements or Photoshop Album Starter Edition, then customize the look and feel by choosing one of ten different border colors to complement the image, select the value of postage they wish and place the order. The interface is fun, functional and incredibly easy-to-use. PhotoStamps can be used just like regular postage on items ranging from postcards to packages, and is available on sheets of 20 individual PhotoStamps, or on rolls of custom lengths from 250 to 10,000 PhotoStamps.
