Las Vegas, NV. January 5th, 2014 - Liquid Image announces the Hydra Series 1080P Camera Mask for Scuba Diving at the 2014 CES Unveiled show.
The Liquid Image Hydra Series 1080P Camera Mask features a 136 degree (full field of view) wide angle lens, 12.0 MP Camera and HD 1080P (1920x1080) Video at 60 fps plus an additional HD 720P (1280x720) Video mode at 120 fps for ultra-smooth underwater motion. The wide angle lens captures all the action in High Definition while snorkeling or scuba diving. The lens, sensor and DSP have been upgraded from previous models to capture greater detail. This model will be on display and available for demonstration during the 2014 CES Unveiled Press event January 5th and at the International CES show in Las Vegas from January 7th– 10th. The depth rating on this new model is 40m/130ft, which covers depths reached by certified recreational divers. The memory compartment can hold up to 64GB micro SDXC, to record thousands of still images or hours of video. The mask comes with a 4GB micro SD card. The camera includes 4 Rechargeable AAA Batteries and Charger. Estimated battery performance is over 2.5 hours of video, which is more than the time required for capturing two average dives. The mask features lever style buttons which are easy to press while wearing diving gloves. To record a photo or a video, simply turn on the camera, choose the mode, then press the shutter button. LED lights inside the mask indicate the mode to the user. The buttons are positioned along the upper right corner of the frame and are easy to access and operate with just one hand. Or turn on the video prior to diving to record hands free. Accessories include LED Torch (side lights) sold separately. The mask will be available with a mid-size (model 326) and L/XL size (model 327) silicon skirt.
The Hydra Series 1080P model 326 and model 327 has an SRP of $349.99 and is estimated to ship in May 2014 and will be available through www.liquidimageco.com
