New Film Short "Incident on Marmont Avenue" Showcases Canon's New EOS 5D Mark III

May 18, 2012 --- Mitch Aunger (aka. Planet Mitch), founder of Planet5D.com, and also one of the producers of "Incident on Marmont Avenue" a short film shot with Barry Anderson was released this past Tuesday - May 15, 2012.

The short, shot using the new Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR, features several recognizable actors (William Mapother, Jude Ciccolella, Sonal Shah, Adria Tennor, Greg Hain, and Michael Patrick McCaffrey) who's credits range from The Artist, Mad Men, Lost, 24, Shawshank Redemption, Sin City, Scrubs, The Termainal, and more.

The intent for this project was to create one of the first narrative films showcasing the new 5D Mark III and its long-awaited features but to also do it on a lower end budget....We designed the entire project to meet the budget, time frame and actual considerations that lower budget filmmakers have for their projects. This is a group that is deeply committed to a high quality final image but wants the lower price tag and flexibility of a DSLR." said Mitch Aunger.
