Thursday, 11/20/08 - Canon today re-issued new rebate forms for their Canon DSLR / PIXMA Pro9000 & Pro9500 rebate offer and alerts dealers that the third-party rebate processing company, Continental Promotion Group (CPG), that was responsible for processing rebate claims and issuing mail-in-rebate (MIR) checks for Canon-brand printer and video products (along with many other products of a number of other companies) filed a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy petition on Friday, November 14th. Wednesday, 11/19/08 - Adobe Labs has pre-released Adobe® Configurator, an open source utility that enables the easy creation of panels (palletes) for use in Adobe Photoshop® CS4. Specifically, Configurator makes it easy to drag and drop tools, menu items, scripts, actions, and other objects into a panel design, then export the results for use inside Photoshop. These panels leverage the support for Adobe Flash® built into Photoshop, making it possible to drag and drop audio, video, images, and even other SWF files into a panel design.

Wednesday, 11/19/08 - TDK Corporation announced today that it will begin sales in December 2008 of the CFG8A series of U.DMA 6-compatible CompactFlash (CF) cards and the SDG8A series of Parallel ATA (PATA) compatible solid state drives (SSD)for industrial applications with a maximum capacity of 16 GByte. These products include a robust error correction function scalable to 15 bit/sector ECC to provide high data reliability.
