Monday, 09/17/12 - Panasonic today launches the LUMIX GH3, its most powerful and versatile Digital Single Lens Mirrorless (DSLM) interchangeable lens camera yet, featuring incredible video and picture quality in a ruggedly elegant and compact design.  Panasonic announced today that its new AG-HPX600 P2 HD shoulder-mount camcorder with 10-bit, 4:2:2 AVC-Intra recording will deliver this month at a suggested list price of $14,950. The AG-HPX600 combines high cost-performance, easy operation, breakthrough expandability and a future-proof design to meet needs in a wide range of uses, from image production to broadcasting and sports. A 2/3-type shoulder-type model, it accommodates a variety of interchangeable lenses. The camcorder's compact body provides superb mobility with the industry's lowest weight* of approximately 6.2 lb for the main unit, along with low power consumption of 18W.
The HPX600 also features wireless and wired connection ability with Wi-Fi, USB and Gigabit Ethernet. In addition, an option will support LiveU for video uplink with real time indication of LiveU's transmission status and video transmission quality to camera operator.
Wednesday, 07/18/12 - Panasonic today announced its new premium digital compact camera, the LUMIX DMC-LX7, from the world-renowned LX series which has been long acclaimed by photography enthusiasts for its high picture quality and creative descriptiveness. The new LUMIX LX7 is equipped with a fully re-designed lens, image sensor and image processing engine for superior performance and stunning image quality.
Equipped with a newly developed 24mm ultra-wide angle LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX lens with 3.8x optical zoom*1, the LUMIX LX7's supreme lens also features F1.4 brightness at wide-end and F2.3 at tele-end. The F1.4 brightness is approximately 400% as bright as an F2.8 lens.

Wednesday, 07/18/12 - Panasonic today announced the LUMIX DMC-FZ200 which features a high-quality LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT 25mm ultra-wide angle lens with a 24x powerful optical zoom(35mm camera equivalent: 25-600mm) and achieves full range F2.8 aperture. The newest addition to the LUMIX FZ-series of digital cameras, the LUMIX FZ200 is the first digital compact camera to offer full range F2.8 aperture at 600mm, making it possible to capture moving subjects clearly with fast shutter speed, even from a distance.

The newest addition to the company's premium lens brand "X," which is compatible with the Panasonic LUMIX G Series and complies with the Micro Four Thirds™ system standard, this lens offers a versatile zoom range of 12-35mm (35mm camera equivalent: 24-70mm) and features constant F2.8 aperture brightness at entire zoom range. Thursday, 04/05/12 - Panasonic today announced a new digital interchangeable lens system camera, the LUMIX DMC-GF5, which joins Panasonic’s award-winning LUMIX G Series of digital cameras, which are acclaimed for their high image quality with small and compact body and lenses. The LUMIX GF5 features a newly developed 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor and redesigned Venus Engine, helping to ensure true-to-life images through exceptional resolution, image rendering and color reproduction.
The LUMIX DMC-GF5 will be available in black, white and red later this year in the following kit options: Body with 14-42mm standard zoom lens will have a suggested retail price (SRP) of $599; body with 14-42mm power zoom lens will have an SRP of $749. Read more after the link.
Tuesday, 02/28/12 - Panasonic today announces pricing for its 2012 line of camcorders, which were debuted at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show, ranging from a full-High Definition 3MOS model with a superb imaging system; to six full-HD 1MOS models that feature incredible lenses, to a compact HD model that has a powerful 70x enhanced optical zoom, to the ideal active camcorder that is waterproof up to approximately 10 feet. Thursday, 02/09/12 - Panasonic today initiated deliveries of the groundbreaking AG-3DP1, a 3D integrated twin-lens P2 HD shoulder-mount camcorder with 10 bit, 4:2:2 independent-frame, full 1920 x 1080 resolution AVC-Intra recording.
A high-powered twin-lens zoom lens system, high-sensitivity sensors and the high-quality AVC-Intra codec in the 3DP1 enable broadcast-level 3D image acquisition. The camcorder also features new 3D Assist functions and multi-camera synchronization for versatile broadcast use and image production. Its newly-developed 17x twin-lens zoom lens system features an expanded range for both wide-angle and telephoto to fit diverse shooting situations including live events, sports, documentaries and independent films.
