Digital Camera Fans Quick to Trade Up

STOCKTON - Carolyn Hinshaw recently bought a new digital camera. It is, she confessed while visiting Gluskin's Cameras last week, her third such device in about six years.

Hinshaw, a Sacramento resident who works in Stockton, has an active interest in photography and wants to keep up with changes in technology.

"The cameras are better. They do more and are more sophisticated," she said. "... I can see the value of the better cameras. I'm a serious hobbyist, and I want good results if I go through the effort of taking pictures. ... I want good equipment that gives good results."
