Canon Shows 50-Megapixel CMOS Sensor Prototype

According to Pocket-Lint.co.uk, Canon has created a 50 Megapixel CMOS sensor prototype. The sensor size is 19x28mm and is the same dimensions of many of today's high-end DSLR sensors. According to Pocket-Lint.co.uk, "there are no plans to launch this just yet."
