Olympus aims for 30% of digital SLR camera market

Olympus (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is confident of doubling its domestic digital single-lens reflex (SLR) camera market share to 30% by early 2006 with the introduction of its latest E-500 8 megapixel camera.

With a 15% share, Olympus now ranks third behind Canon and Nikon in the local digital SLR camera market.
