There is nothing like a......

Extraordinary Images From Ordinary Places
"I realized opportunity is simply a matter of mindset. As Allison constantly tells me, you have to think like a tourist (and view your surroundings through a visitor's eyes), even when you're in your hometown-especially when you're in your hometown! That's the first rule of opportunity. It has served me well for two decades of freelance travel jo......

While these destinations provide nice getaways, others that the crowds hav......

Capturing Architectural Blasts from the Past
Many photographers can preserve history by becoming the kind of candid photographer who, instead of photographing a human subject, shoots an architectural object. Finding the right type of architecture for you to photograph depends on your interests, the places you like to visit, and-most importantly-what you would like to see preserved.

As ......

The Little Things
As photographers, we frequently lust after the ultimate scenic vista or that finite moment when sky and horizon melt together in a fantastic sunrise or sunset. Sometimes, our images do justice to such magnificent, exciting works of nature. But there's another side of photography-the simple, subtle side. Some of the most memorable images I've se......
